Raise Your Vibrational Level

This is a technique that I learnt from Sharon Wilson, in the Coaching from Spirit course. All the people that I am now coaching know it, and it really is life changing.

If you find yourself in a situation where your energy and emotions are all tangled up and jarring – this is a great tool to help you shift your energy and your feelings, so that you can move into a more resourceful state.

I carry a notebook around with me so that I can do this at anytime, when I feel myself going off centre. You can do it verbally, but I find it much more effective to write it down.

STEP 1

GET YOUR  STORY AND YOUR  FEELINGS DOWN ON PAPER

Pour it all out. Don’t censor yourself. Use “I” statements. It’s all about how YOU are feeling about whatever is going on, and the story from your point of view. You don’t have to watch your language, or to see the other side. You want to be completely truthful to yourself about what you are feeling right now.

When you feel that this is complete – usually when you are repeating yourself and just going over the same things again and again – move onto the next step.

STEP 2

LIST ALL OF THE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Write down everything that you can think of that might be a possible solution to your problem. EVERYTHING. It doesn’t matter how outlandinsh or unthinkable it sounds. If it would solve your problem – write it down.  What you are doing here is opening up possibilities that you can’t see right now – once you have more possibilities, you’ll notice a shift in your energy and your vibrational level.

Some of my possibilities have included things like – “Martians may come down and dig the garden for me in the night.” (when I was overwhelmed by the amount of work that needed doing in the garden.)

Write down all the possibilities you can think of  - have fun!!

STEP 3

WRITE DOWN HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO FEEL ABOUT THE SITUATION THAT IS TROUBLING YOU.

Make sure that this is all about YOU. It’s not about other people changing (if thoughts about other people come up – put a possibility into Step 2.

I have things like:

“I would love to feel happy whatever is going on around me. ”   ” I want to feel loving and kind.”   ” I want to feel that I can cope whatever happens.” etc

STEP 4

ASK FOR GUIDANCE

Ask your inner guidance for help  on what action to take next – and do it!!! Even if it seems a bit unusual.

Try it and see…………………..  I’ve found it really helpful, and so do my coaching clients.
